- Standard Cancellation: Reservations cancelled more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled arrival date will incur no penalty, and any deposits made will be fully refundable, minus standard transaction processing fees.
- Late Cancellation: Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled arrival date will be subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to the cost of the first night’s stay.
- Non-Refundable Rates: Certain promotional rates or peak-season bookings are explicitly flagged as non-refundable at the time of purchase. For these bookings, no modifications, refunds, or credits will be issued upon cancellation.
- No-Shows: In the event of a failure to arrive without prior written notice, the booking will be treated as a no-show. The entire reservation will be released, and a charge equivalent to the full stay or the first night (depending on your booking tier) will apply.
- Group and Long-Term Bookings: Separate cancellation terms apply to corporate accounts, group bookings, and extended residential contracts. These terms are explicitly outlined in your specific service contract.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold Kates Hotel & Residence and our partners, attorneys, staff, and affiliates harmless from any liability, loss, claim, and expense, including reasonable attorney fees, related to your violation of this Agreement or use of the Site.
